OverView
Tareq Alzubi is an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department at Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan. I received a PhD degree in computer graphics from Santiago De Compostela University, Spain (2019). Master's degree in computer science from Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan (2005). I also have a bachelor's degree in computer science from Al-Ahliyya Amman University (2000).
Tareq works and researches in multi-disciplinary fields involving Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, virtual and augmented reality communication of gestures by the new devices interaction and the development of educational applications for school students. In addition, he is a reviewer in many prestigious computer science journals.

Research Intersets:
My research and professional endeavors encompass a range of interdisciplinary areas, including Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and artificial intelligence. His primary focus lies in the creation of advanced algorithms and systems for visual recognition, object detection, image segmentation, and understanding 3D scenes. AlZubi has significantly contributed to the development of real-time computer vision applications, especially in the domains of autonomous systems, surveillance, healthcare, and human-computer interaction.

With a strong passion for both the theoretical and practical dimensions of Computer Vision, AlZubi has authored research articles in prestigious journals and conferences. His research interests include deep learning techniques for image and video analysis, facial recognition technologies, and the integration of multi-modal data.
